portland sunrise
today i said good bye to our best friends in Portland.
they stayed at our house last night....their last night in town, and despite the fact that they kicked my ass at trivial pursuit, i will miss them.
late morning, i started on the way up to seattle to reuinite with emily.
i missed her during my chico weekend.
i love my wife.
as i pulled into Seattle, i got the call from Crush Management about warped tour.
the interview went lovely.
they want me to tour manage/mix a band called Charlotte Sometimes (geffin/interscope).
from what i hear, the band members seem delightful. for that reason, i am excited.
the music sounds fun enough to mix as well.
the only thing i am not looking forward to is the food on warped tour.
i hear it starts out fine, but after a month or two turns to "the same ol shit."
with warped tour, i am now booked through august:
apr 24-june 1 Floater
june 18-aug 18 Charlotte Sometimes
that will give me september at home with my love...perhaps a honeymoon......followed by another floater tour in early october.
